    Our Manufacturing Process & Raw Material Sourcing

    1. Raw Material Sourcing For our bulk charcoal production, we use mature Moso bamboo (4–5 years old with high lignin content), fully matured coconut shells, and dense hardwood sourced responsibly. Each batch is carefully inspected for moisture levels and overall quality before entering the production process.

    2. Raw materials are dried to reduce moisture content below 15%, ensuring consistent carbonisation and uniform output across every batch.

    3. Materials are carbonised in oxygen-limited kilns at temperatures ranging from 600–900 °C. Temperature profiles are adjusted individually for bamboo, coconut, and wood to achieve high fixed carbon content and low ash levels essential for premium bulk charcoal quality.

    4. The charcoal is crushed and graded into the required sizes, powder, granules, lump, or briquettes. On request, activation (steam or chemical) is carried out to produce high-iodine activated carbon grades suitable for specialised applications.

    5. Every batch undergoes laboratory testing for fixed carbon, ash content, moisture, and iodine value. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided with each shipment, and export-ready packaging is customised according to buyer specifications to ensure safe delivery of bulk charcoal worldwide.

    Bamboo charcoal is produced by carbonising mature bamboo at 800°C–1,200°C in a low-oxygen kiln. This process removes moisture and volatile compounds, resulting in a dense carbon structure with a highly porous microstructure. As a result, it offers strong adsorption capacity, high calorific value, and lower ash output compared to traditional wood charcoal.

    A-Grade charcoal features higher fixed carbon content (≥80%), lower ash (≤3%), and higher calorific value, making it ideal for premium BBQ, shisha, cosmetics, and filtration applications. B-Grade charcoal has higher ash content and lower carbon purity, making it more suitable for industrial use or price-sensitive markets.

    Our standard MOQ is one 20-foot GP container. However, we support sample orders so you can verify product quality before committing to a full container order.

    Each shipment includes essential export documents such as the phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA), detailing fixed carbon, ash, and moisture content, is also available for A-Grade orders upon request.
